GENERAL DODGE FILM | EXHIBITION PROPOSAL

CURRENT PROBLEM

The Historic General Dodge House’s means of exhibiting the film they commissioned - GENERAL DODGE - are incompatible with current methods of exhibiting digital media. In order to premiere the film at a formal event and exhibit it to audiences who purchase a tour of the house, this equipment MUST be updated.

OBJECTIVE

Exhibit GENERAL DODGE using state of the art home theater equipment in order to give audiences an immersive, emotionally engaging, and powerful experience of the film.

CONSULTING & INSTALLATION

This specialized equipment will need to be set up and calibrated for exhibition. Matthew O’Brien and Cody Jones will oversee the physical installation of the television to make sure it’s hung on the wall in the correct location to optimize viewing angles for the audience.

Matthew & Cody will also handle connecting the Roku Streambar to the television and setting it and its remote up to be used by volunteers.

Matthew and Cody will add the final film files to the Roku and ensure that it plays back, the remote operates properly, and we’ll also be sure to have documentation that gives clear instructions for how to use the television, the Roku Streambar, and how to play the video.

Matthew and Cody will calibrate all the TV settings including color and motion smoothing.
